REVIVING THE ANCIENT VINES OF MESKHETI
About Us
After centuries of disruption and loss, Natenadze Wine Cellar represents the first winemaking endeavor in Meskheti since the 16th century. Our mission is to rediscover, study, preserve, and multiply ancient endemic grape varieties and to express the authentic voice of Meskheti through wine.
Natenadze Wine Cellar is a pioneering natural wine project based in the historic region of Meskheti (Samtskhe–Javakheti), Georgia. Founded by Giorgi Natenadze the winery is dedicated to reviving one of the world’s oldest yet nearly forgotten winemaking regions.
All wines are produced using traditional Georgian qvevri methods, with minimal intervention, from wild and foraged grapes grown entirely by nature.
